DESCRIPTION:TEX (Teaching English with Excellence)\nBasic ESL Training for New ESL Teachers of Adult Students \nRegister Online \nWHEN: Saturday\, September 11\, 2021 9:00 am –  12:00 pm \nWHERE:  Online\n \nCOST: $10– includes online TEX manual. \nTraining will address best practices for teaching ESL in a pandemic\, lesson planning\, activity teaching\, and more! \nParticipants will receive a discount on in-person training in 2022. \nRESERVATIONS: Required by Thursday\, September 9\, 2021 \nFor reservations: \nRegister and pay online at www.literacyconnexus.org or contact Janice Long\, tex.teachers@gmail.com . \nIf you would like to pay by check\, you can send a check for $10 to Literacy Connexus\, 3020 S. Due to time allotted for this training\, references to higher levels will be limited but many of the same techniques used for beginners are also appropriate for the higher levels.
