Happy Friday from Literacy Connexus everyone! We hope that this blog post finds you happy, healthy, and warm!
This year Literacy Connexus has decided that our motto will be Pandemic Perseverance. In March of 2020, the world shut down for what was supposed to be a short 2-week break to figure out the pandemic. It has been two years since then, but our churches, programs, colleagues, volunteers have persevered during that time and continued both advocating for literacy and helping our students along their learning journeys.
With that being said, today I want to share a little Flashback Friday resource that I shared at the beginning of last year because I think that persevering during the pandemic is a little easier with some help. In this case, the help is in the form of 100 remote learning activities, templates, and tutorials to help ESL volunteers and teachers who are still working remotely continue to deliver those excellent virtual lessons.

Ditch That Textbook is a great resource for virtual teachers. Virtual learning doesn’t have to be difficult or boring. Remote learning activities can be fun AND promote quality learning. Check out Ditch That Textbook here for lots of examples and templates to use!
In addition to all of the remote learning activities, templates, and tutorials, Ditch that Textbook also has a free remote learning online course that volunteers and teachers can sign up for!

We hope that you enjoy this resource and can find a resource or activity that works for you! Until next time, blessings and happy teaching.
