Literacy texas is the statewide literacy coalition for Texas, connecting and equipping literacy programs through resourcvces, training, networking, and advocacy. It provides leadership to help community-based organizations that provide literacy services, literacy coalitions, and adult education programs throughout the state that built build capacity and improve literacy levels in Texas. Proliteracy champions the power of literacy to improve the lives of adults and their families, communities, and societies, envisioning a world in which everyone can read, write, compute, and use teachnology to lead healthy, productive, and fulfilling lives.

TexTESOL has a mission to advance professional expertise in English language teaching and learning for speakers of other languages.  They help create an array of resources through hosting a number of conferences at state, regional, and national levels.
