Basic ESL Training for New ESL Teachers of Adult Students

WHEN:      Saturday, August 7, 2021   8:30 am – 4 pm

Arrive on Saturday before TIME to check in & receive materials.

WHERE:      Highland Baptist Church
                    3014 Maple Avenue
                    Waco, Texas

COST:         $40– includes notebook manual & lunch ($35 for those from host church.).  Please see registration link below.

RESERVATIONS:  Required by Monday, August 2, 2021

Registration is limited, so training may be closed BEFORE that date.

1. your name as wish on nametag & certificate
2. your email & phone number
3. your city of residence
4. the name of church or organization & city where plan to teach
5. if already teaching ESL, what level of students

     Because the majority of Texas ESL adult students in church ministries are beginners, the emphasis is on teaching that level.  Due to time allotted for this training, references to higher levels will be limited but many of the same techniques used for beginners are also appropriate for the higher levels.  Higher level teachers who have never attended a basic workshop will benefit from this training.
