Basic ESL Training for New ESL Teachers of Adult Students
WHEN: Saturday, September 11, 2021 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

COST: $10– includes online TEX manual.
Training will address best practices for teaching ESL in a pandemic, lesson planning, activity teaching, and more!
Participants will receive a discount on in-person training in 2022.

4. if already teaching ESL, what level of students
Individuals must register for themselves.
Leadership may not reserve spots for their volunteers.
You’ll receive a confirmation email upon receipt of your registration.
You aren’t registered until you receive this confirmation email.

Because the majority of Texas ESL adult students in church ministries are beginners, the emphasis is on teaching that level. Due to time allotted for this training, references to higher levels will be limited but many of the same techniques used for beginners are also appropriate for the higher levels. Higher level teachers who have never attended a basic workshop will benefit from this training.
